Answerworthy vs Searchable

Searchable is the fastest-moving new entrant in the category and the broadest self-serve package: monitoring, a content studio, a site-health audit, and an in-product agent under one subscription. Both platforms aim at the same loop, from measurement to action; they differ most on measurement methodology, crawler data sourcing, and how much of the machinery is publicly documented.

What Searchable is genuinely good at

Their packaging is excellent. One workspace covers visibility analytics, tracked prompts with research suggestions, a content editor with an AI-readiness score, site issues with fix affordances, and agency conveniences like agency-branded share links and pitch workspaces. Their query fan-out view (surfacing the intermediate searches an engine runs before answering) is a clever surface. Seats are unmetered, pricing is public from $125/mo, and the product ships new features at an impressive pace. For a team that wants many capabilities in one affordable subscription and is early in its AEO maturity, there is a lot here.

The honest capability table

Facts as of mid-2026 from Searchable’s published pages and pricing; verify current details on their site.

Capability Answerworthy Searchable
Measurement cadence Configurable replicate count per prompt-engine cell (currently single-shot, executed count always stated); majority-cited when replicates run Daily runs; published plan math (prompts x engines x 30 answers per month) implies one run per prompt per engine per day
Published methodology Full public methodology page; per-metric explanation panels in-product; provenance notes per engine surface No detailed public methodology documentation (capture method, sampling, confidence) at time of writing
Crawler analytics source CDN log harvest with bot-registry matching and published-IP verification; spoofed traffic quarantined LLM/crawler analytics built on GA4 plus their own tracking; no server or CDN log integration documented. JavaScript trackers cannot observe most bot traffic
On-site audit 91-check methodology-grounded audit with honest gating and raw-vs-rendered comparison Site Health score with technical and AEO sub-scores, issues list, generated schema
Content generation Briefs and rewrites grounded in an approved fact sheet; schema and llms.txt generators Content Studio with briefs, editor, readiness score, CMS exports
Factuality Answers checked against an approved per-brand fact sheet, severity-ranked A manually curated correct/incorrect brand-facts registry
Fix verification Re-checked before marked verified Fix affordances and MCP-driven fixes; no re-measurement loop documented
Evidence discipline OBSERVED vs INFERRED at the database level, source refs required, raw responses stored Response log with export
Multi-client Isolated workspaces, scoped seats, agency-branded PDF reporting Projects with agency-branded share links and agency workspaces

Where we differ, and why it matters

One run a day is a poll of one. Engines answer differently run to run. When each prompt is sampled once per day, day-over-day movement is substantially sampling noise, and a chart of it looks like insight while being weather. Answerworthy treats every answer as a sample: it stores every raw response, states the count each run actually executed (majority-cited scoring when replicates run), and separates real movement from jitter with a statistical threshold computed from weeks of your own history. If you will ever have to defend a week-over-week claim to a client, this difference is the whole game.

Crawler truth requires logs. Bot activity that never executes JavaScript never appears in a JS tracker or GA4. Our Layer 2 reads real CDN logs and verifies each bot against published IP ranges, which also catches spoofed crawlers pretending to be OpenAI or Anthropic. Numbers about bots should come from where bots actually leave footprints.

Show the machinery. Our methodology is published in full, every metric carries its explanation, and every claim carries its evidence tag. In a young category with a credibility problem, we think the machinery being inspectable is a feature, and we hold ourselves to it first.
